EAEU: List of Products Subject to the Conformity Assessment in accordance with Technical Regulations on Energy Efficiency for Electrical and Electronic Equipment

On 11 February 2022, the Eurasian Economic Commission published Decision No. 23 to approve a list of products which that should be accompanied with the customs declaration based on the conformity assessment documentation. The Annex to the Decision No.23 is a list of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices" (TR EAEU 048/2019). The final list of products is identical to the list initially proposed for public consultation in December 2021. The Decision shall enter into force on 13 March 2022. The implementation date of TR EAEU 048/2019 is 1 September 2022.

The covered products are listed as below:

1. Domestic refrigeration appliances

2. Single-speed three-phase electric asynchronous (induction) motors with a squirrel-cage rotor

3. Televisions powered by rated voltage up to 250 V (inclusive) and intended for operation in residential and office premises

4. Equipment intended for use at home or in the office (including outdoors) operating under rated voltage of up to 250 V (inclusive):

a) Washing machines, drum-type dryers and other equipment for processing (washing, ironing, drying, cleaning) linen, clothes and shoes;

b) Dishwashers;

c) Electric ovens, electric stoves;

d) Microwave ovens;

e) Toasters, deep fryers, electric knives, coffee grinders, coffee machines and other appliances for cooking and processing food;

f) Hair clippers, hair dryers, razors, toothbrushes, massage equipment and other body care equipment;

g) Equipment for opening and closing containers and packages;

h) Scales;

i) Communication terminal equipment;

j) Printers;

k) Scanners;

l) Monitors;

m) Active loudspeaker systems powered by alternating current;

n) Multimedia projectors;

o) Radio receivers;

p) Video recorders;

q) Video cameras;

r) Sound recording equipment;

s) Sound amplifiers;

t) Home cinemas;

u) Electronic musical instruments;

v) Other equipment for recording and reproducing image and sound, including equipment for transmitting image and sound in ways other than telecommunication channels, by means of signals or in another way (except for television sets);

w) Toys, leisure and sports equipment

5. Household automatic washing machines that can be applied and for commercial purposes (in production, in trade and services), powered by an alternating current with a rated voltage of up to 250 V (inclusive), washing machines, which, along with mains power can be powered by electric batteries (accumulators), as well as built-in washing machines, except for combination washer-dryers

6. AC household dishwashers

7. Stand-alone (not built into television and (or) radio broadcasting receivers) set-top boxes

8. Non-directional electric lamps for household and similar purposes

9. External power supplies

10. Sealed circulation pumps autonomous and integrated

11. Fans with the electric drive from 125 W (inclusive) to 500 kW (inclusive) and supply voltage up to 1000 V (inclusive) AC and up to 1500 V (inclusive) DC

12. Non-ballast fluorescent lamps, high-pressure discharge lamps, ballasts and luminaires for such lamps

13. Directional lamps, light-emitting diode lamps (LED lamps)

14. AC-powered household tumble dryers for textiles, which can also be used for commercial purposes

15. Household vacuum cleaners that can be used for commercial purposes

16. Computers and servers designed to be powered directly from the AC mains, including through an external or internal power source

17. Autonomous and integrated pumps designed for pumping clean water

18. Air conditioners for cooling and (or) for heating not more than 12 kW, as well as room fans with rated power consumption not more than 125 W
