Q&A panelist on how to achieve sustainability and energy efficiency through Digital Twin

Q&A panelist on how to achieve sustainability and energy efficiency through Digital Twin

Reducing budgets, operational expenses and energy load (KWh per sqm per annum) while increasing the Net Operating Income (NOI) are some of the highest priority for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) now. TÜV SÜD Real Estate and Infrastructure team had achieved great sustainability results such as reducing 10% CO2 emission and 6% energy cost for government as well as industrial Commercial Real Estate assets using Digital Twin. For a single building in Singapore, 14 Mn USD OPEX advantage is achieved by implementing Digital Twin in the design phase. For a federal built environment with 120,000+ assets and 365 Mn EUR annual operational budget (as of 2021) in Germany, sustainability items such as digital energy twins were developed through technical monitoring and simulations, saving approximately 40Mn EUR of the annual budget.

In this panelist session, TÜV SÜD project experts will share practical Digital Twin experiences and outcomes relevant to building owners, Real Estate financiers and investors and facility managers, as well as answer any questions that you might have on this topic.

Date: 2 June 2022
Time: 4:00 pm SGT
Duration: 30 min

In this Q&A session, we will answer practical key questions such as:

  • How to utilise Digital Twin to enhance Green & Sustainability Factors including Net Operating Income (NOI)?

  • How to increase energy efficiency for existing buildings without incurring additional CAPEX?

  • When does Digital Twin make sense for existing building and how does it look like?

  • How can new builds reduce CO2 emissions and energy costs using Digital Twin in the design stage and achieve necessary green certifications?
