TÜV SÜD and the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) are pleased to invite you to Battery and Automotive Components Testing Centre at Chonburi, Thailand on Friday 19th August 2022.

This is our 9th Battery Testing Laboratory adding to the existing network of labs across North America, Germany and Asia.

A QUICK OVERVIEW ABOUT OUR LABORATORY AND CAPABILITIES

Our 3,000 sq. mtr. facility in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate is equipped with extensive technical expertise and experience to address the multi-faceted requirements of e-Mobility. Providing comprehensive range of solutions that facilitate vehicle, battery, components and infrastructure aspects, our service portfolio is strongly developed, validated, & certified under UN ECE R100 and related standards. 

PERFORMANCE TESTS

  • Effects of external influences on lifetime and performance
  • Cycle testing under different climatic conditions (temperature, humidity)
  • Cycle testing with driving profiles (e.g. city cycle)

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS

  • LV124, USCAR 
  • Function of battery parts & system in rough conditions
  • Thermal cycle, heat shock
  • IPX testing (dust resistance & waterproofness)
  • Immersion & splash, salt water/fog testing
  • High pressure washer
  • Humidity, dew resistance
  • Cyclic corrosion, salt spray
  • Weathering resistance (xenon & carbon-arc)

MECHANICAL TESTS

  • Vibration and shock testing under different conditions (temperature, humidity & electrical load)

  2. Space is limited to 40 participants - 1 participant maximum from each company.

Registration Procedure / COVID-19 Regulations:

  • Strictly no walk-ins policy. Pre-registration is required.
  • Mask is a mandatory requirement during the site visit.
  • Dress Code: Closed-toed, nonslip shoes must be worn (open-toed shoes, sandals or high heels are not allowed). Long pants, shirts or blouses with sleeves are required (no shorts, capris or dresses).
  • Photos and video recording are not allowed during the plant visit.
