2021년 9월 3일, 유럽 화학 물질관리청(European Chemicals Agency(ECHA))은 REACH 후보 목록1의 26번째 업데이트 관련 공개 협의를 시작했습니다. 공개 협의는 2021년 10월 18일에 종료됩니다.

4가지 물질이 매우 우려되는 물질(SVHC)로 제안되었습니다. 또한, 유럽연합 집행위원회(EC)는 2021년 4분기에 레조르시놀2를 SVHC(고위험성 물질)로 식별하도록 결정할 것으로 예상됩니다. EC 결정이 발표되면 ECHA는 후속 조치로 레조르시놀을 포함할 것입니다. 후보자 목록에 따라서 후보 목록에 등재된 SVHC의 총 수는 2021년 12월 또는 2022년 1월에 219개에서 224개로 증가합니다.

SEPTEMBER 2021 - ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS, HARDLINES, SOFTLINES, TOYS AND CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS

On 3 September 2021, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched a public consultation for the 26th update of the REACH Candidate List¹. The public consultation will end on 18 October 2021.

Four (4) substances were proposed as substance of very high concern (SVHCs). Moreover, the European Commission (EC) is expected to publish the decision about the identification of resorcinol² as a substances of very high concern (SVHC) in the 4th quarter of 2021. Once the EC decision is published, ECHA will follow up to include resorcinol into the Candidate List. Hence, the total number of SVHCs listed on the Candidate List will increase from 219 to 224 in December 2021 or January 2022.

Table A gives the substance names, identification numbers (CAS and EC), the reason(s) for proposing and their potential application(s).
