On 30 June 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India amended the three Quality Control Orders for footwear to extend the effective date of these orders.123
On 27 October 2020, the Ministry approved three Quality Control Orders for footwear mandating compliance requirements with the corresponding Indian Standards and the requirement of Standard Mark [ISI].4
The effective date of those three Quality Control Orders was 1 July 2021. The Ministry, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, further extended the effective date for public interest. The below table lists the Amendment Orders and corresponding new effective dates.
