Monica Filippini has a degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in clinical pathophysiology. She has been in charge of the biomolecular laboratory since 2000, the year the first GMO food analyses began. Monica has developed analytical methods for the detection and quantification of GMOs, allergens, pathogens and animal species. In 2014 she became head of TÜV SÜD “pH Labs” microbiological laboratory, and since 2020 she has been responsible for testing the biocompatibility of medical devices.
