The role of proving ground tests using the new upcoming UNECE regulation for Automated Lane Keeping System - ALKS – are explained as an example. It also takes a close look at efforts to approve automated driving functions in the various automotive markets and at customer acceptance as a relevant pillar for the success of the technology
