CERTIFICATION MARK FOR CRYSTALLINE SILICON (PV) CELLS
SCOPE:
The certification mark applies to crystalline silicon (PV) cells.
BASIS OF CERTIFICATION:
Depending on the product in question, the test procedures developed by TÜV SÜD are based on standard: IEC TS 63202-4 (Photovoltaic cells - Part 4: Measurement of light and elevated temperature induced degradation of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells).
KEY WORDS OF THE CERTIFICATION MARKS:
LETID Non-Sensitive
The voluntary certification mark with the statement “LETID Non-Sensitive” is issued for products, indicating that the product was tested and certified by the independent third-party organization of TÜV SÜD Product Service for conformity with the essential technical requirements for light and elevated temperature induced degradation (LETID) as follows:
Maximum power degradation is less than or equal to 3% in light irradiation dose accumulated to 48 kWh/m2
Regeneration occurred when light irradiation dose accumulated above 48 kWh/m2
Power stabilized after the light irradiation dose accumulated to 168 kWh/m2
