SCOPE:

This certification mark proves that the cybersecurity product for Automotive Electronic Systems complies with ISO/SAE 21434.

 

BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (TEST REQUIREMENTS):

The certification mark is awarded within the framework of voluntary testing and certification. It demonstrates that the product has been tested and certified by the third-party organisation TÜV SÜD. The certification mark is only affixed to products that undergo inspection by TÜV SÜD Product Service and comply with the criteria quoted below.

 

KEY STATEMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION MARK:

ECE R155 Annex 5

This statement indicates that the assessment of cybersecurity threats and mitigations for automotive electronic systems is based on the product characteristics and scope description document. The UNECE Regulation No.155 Annex 5 List of threats and corresponding mitigations is used as a reference.

Inspection

This statement indicates that the development, testing, production, and other processes of the design unit are inspected.

ISO/SAE 21434

This statement indicates the international standards followed by the certification.

Production monitored

This statement indicates that the product should undergo surveillance checks annually.
