CERTIFICATION MARK FOR photovoltaic (PV) moduleS
SCOPE:
The certification mark applies to photovoltaic (PV) modules.
BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (REQUIREMENTS):
Depending on the product in question, the test procedures developed by TÜV SÜD are based on standards IEC TS 63342 and IEC 61215-2 clause 4.1.
KEY STATEMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION MARK:
LETID Non-sensitive
Light induced degradation at elevated temperatures (LETID) is activated by excess carriers caused either through illumination or injection of electrical current at temperatures above 50 °C. The module type is deemed “LETID non-sensitive” when the requirements of IEC TS 63342 clause 8 is met.
PPP 58215A
PPP 58215A is based on IEC TS 63342, IEC 61215-2 and in this PPP LETID testing is done via current injection.
