SCOPE:
This certification mark is for the fresh-keeping and bacterial elimination performance of refrigerators.
BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (TEST REQUIREMENTS):
The certification mark is awarded within the framework of voluntary testing and certification. It demonstrates that the product has been tested and certified by the third-party organisation TÜV SÜD. The certification mark is only affixed to products that undergo inspection by TÜV SÜD Product Service and comply with the criteria quoted below.
KEY STATEMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION MARK:
Bacterial elimination in 3 minutes
- The bacterial elimination rate shall not be less than 99.99% after a 3-minute bacterial elimination program.
- The bacterial elimination rate shall not be less than 99.99% after a 3-minute bacterial elimination program followed by an additional 24 hours of storage.
Both of the above requirements shall be met.
Fresh-keeping for 7 days
A refrigerator shall meet the requirements of the food sensory/freshness test, weight/water/VC/fat/protein loss rate test, and TVB-N increasing rate test after food is stored in the refrigerator for 7 days.
