TÜV SÜD psb gets sabs accreditation for emc testing

TÜV SÜD PSB was accepted into the A-Lab Programme of the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS). Now the lab of TÜV SÜD PSB in Singapore can provide EMC testing services for the South African market. This is a valuable addition to the EMC services of the international premium quality, safety, and sustainability solutions Provider.

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) is the appointed national standardisation institution in the Republic of South Africa. It is responsible for developing, promoting and maintaining the national standards as well as for ensuring the quality in commodities, products and services. The accreditation of TÜV SÜD PSB was the result of an extensive lab assessment in March 2018. Now the TÜV SÜD PSB lab in Singapore can offer a one-stop solution for EMC testing of household products, information technology equipment, measurement equipment and medical devices and issuing the EMC Certificate of Compliance (CoC), which is an essential requirement for market access in South Africa.

EMC compliance is a mandatory requirement in most global markets, including Europe, North America, China, Japan and Australia.
