About IEC 61511 Functional Safety Training and Certification Program

Pre-requisites

There are certain prerequisites for attending our Instructor-led Functional Safety 61511 Training Program including:

• Having a Certificate in Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the process industry (operations, engineering or consulting)
• Candidate holding Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience
• Having attended a professional training course for IEC 61511 /IEC 61508 for a minimum 24 hours covering knowledge equivalent to the scope of certification

Examination & Certification

Total 100 marks examination
Part - 1 Written Examination 80 Questions: Multiple choice questions
Part - 2 Case studies

Passing Criteria:

Over all 70% is the passing criteria.
Candidates need to score minimum 50% in part 01 and part 02 respectively and need to obtain an aggregate of 70% of the total marks (i.e. 70 out of 100) to pass this examination.

Validity Of Certificate:
5 years
