With increasing emphasis on corporate environmental sustainability globally and locally, more companies are inclined to learn about how they can become more environmentally sustainable. However, there may be a lack of knowledge internally on what needs to be done. Most courses available on the market focus on teaching background knowledge over extensive courses with a minor focus on helping the students apply the knowledge to their workplaces.

This course seeks to help companies’ employees learn about corporate environmental sustainability and create a high-level, strategic plan to become more environmentally sustainable. Participants will get an overview of environmental sustainability management trends and implement the knowledge gained in a corporate context.
This course is 16 hours. Individuals will create a proposal of strategic actions for improving an organisation’s environmental sustainability. They are encouraged to use actual data collated from the relevant personnel from their respective companies and to present the high-level action plan to their company’s upper management in the final session of the workshop.

Sustainability transformations can increase efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. However, many still (i) lack familiarity with sustainability concepts, (ii) are unclear how to get started and (iii) lack a systematic approach to identify opportunities and high-impact initiatives
