Machinery Inspection Services

Ensure safety and compliance for your industrial machinery

In order to remain compliant, industrial machinery must undergo inspections and audits to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards. For manufacturers, these inspections must occur prior to placing your equipment on the market, and some industrial standards require periodic inspections of machinery already in operation.

Why Choose TÜV SÜD's Machinery Inspection Services?

TÜV SÜD offers a full range of machinery inspection services to help you remain compliant with domestic and global standards. Beyond regulatory compliance, our machinery inspection services will help ensure safety of employees and property, and avoidance of business interruption.

Several of our offerings include:

Industrial Technical Inspection Services: This range of inspection services specialize in directives such as Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX/IECEx compliance, Outdoor Noise Directive, Alternative Fuel Technologies, and more. With experience in steam and pressure technology, component and equipment manufacturers, shell and water tube boilers, heat exchangers, process pipework and more, TÜV SÜD’s Industrial Technical Inspection Services group are equipped to help you meet the needs of today, and the future.

Jurisdictional Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspections: A failure to conduct regular inspections of pressure vessels can result in a greater likelihood of accidents and personnel injury, along with increased legal liability. In the United States, most state laws regulate the operation and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. While requirements vary between jurisdictions, typically, high-pressure boilers (15 psi and higher operating pressure) require one internal inspection and an additional, annual external inspection. TÜV SÜD ARISE is accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Board of Boiler Pressure Vessel Inspectors to perform third-party inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, and components.

Quality Assurance and Control: New plant projects are always expected to be completed in a timely and cost-effective manner while complying with regulations and requirements. Having a high-quality QA/QC management program minimizes defects and enables smooth transition through all phases of the project. In addition, ensuring the quality of structures, components, equipment and systems in a facility may improve its operability, reliability, and safety throughout the rest of its lifetime.

TÜV SÜD offers machinery inspection services that address the full range of industrial risks. Our expert engineers are up to date with latest regulatory changes in different jurisdictions and can support you with compliance, as well as provide advice on how to reduce your risk.

The TÜV SÜD certification mark is accepted globally by industries as evidence of compliance with all applicable product safety requirements and standards.
