About the Speaker

Vina Kerai, BEng (Hons), CEng, MIET

Vina Kerai manages wireless certification activities relating to the FCC and Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada requirements, as well as the Japanese Radio approvals and EU Radio Equipment Directive and EMC Directive for TUV SUD America. Vina also provides technical expertise worldwide for the TÜV SÜD Group, which includes responsibility for certification training and development. She is also the Senior Product Specialist for FCC, ISED Canada, MIC Japan and is leading various processes relating to these. Vina’s advisory areas of expertise include Radio, EMC, RF Exposure and SAR. Vina is authorized to issue FCC Grants, ISED Type Acceptance Certificates, Notified Body Type Examination Certifications for the RED and EMC Directives, as well as Japanese Radio Type Acceptance Certificates. Vina has 18 years of experience in the wireless market. Vina’s past experience includes research and development, testing, technical advisory and product certification for test laboratories and manufacturers.
