Vehicle manufacturers who wish to export to the Taiwanese market must demonstrate that their vehicle complies with regulation from the Taiwanese Vehicle Safety Certification Center (VSCC). The process is relatively complex and requires that all tests be conducted by an accredited technical service provider at their own laboratory, or at a witness laboratory which is approved by the Taiwanese Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC).
