Can you describe your role within TÜV SÜD?
I am a Regional Account Executive for the Business Assurance (BA) Division, responsible for the East Coast and Eastern Canada. My focus is on helping organizations with their process improvement efforts to address Cybersecurity Compliance, CMMI Support, and ISO Certification as well as customized Training services offered through our Academy.

What drew you to a career with TÜV SÜD?
What really drew me to TÜV SÜD was its collaborative culture. I have been in sales for the past 20 years and would always hear about TÜV SÜD being the global partner of choice for safety, security, and sustainability solutions throughout the world. Getting to work with a global network of experts who help businesses manage risks through testing and product certification, training, knowledge services, inspection as well as auditing and system certification was a perfect fit for my career path.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
What really stands out to me is One TÜV SÜD – one team, one fight. Everyone at TÜV SÜD has the same goals in mind. Even as a large organization, we continue to work together. We help clients grow and expand their businesses by promoting products and services that help their organizations. Even if a client asks about a service that is outside my expertise, I can refer the client to the appropriate individual in another department who can answer the client’s questions.

What is your driving mission in this role?
I excel at identifying strategic opportunities, developing solutions to meet customer needs, and driving new product and innovative solutions into target sectors. My customer focus and C-Suite credibility, combined with my natural leadership skills, help drive me to develop long-lasting and trusted partnerships.

Are there any challenges that you have faced in your career that have taught you important lessons?
Life is always filled with challenges. What they have taught me over time is that you need to take them head on and stay hopeful. Staying upbeat and focused are important when finding the solution.

What do you think the industry will look like 20 years from now?
In the span of a decade, big data has become indispensable to companies worldwide. It tells them everything from the best marketing approach to reach more customers and convert their curiosity into sales to how they can streamline their supply chain. There is so much use for this technology, and in the next 20 years, the world will see it fully integrated into all our systems.

When not working, how do you spend your spare time?
I am a big family person and pride myself on spending every Sunday with my large extended family. I love all sports and travel each year to new stadiums across the country to watch Penn State football games. In addition, I am a season ticket holder for the Sixers and love going to as many home games as possible. I am passionate about taking care of myself both mentally and physically, so I like to get out for a run several times a week. I also organize several volunteer groups at many of our local 5K races.
