Can you describe your role at TÜV SÜD?
My position as the account executive for the lab entails business development, sales, and lead generation.

For many customers, their first point of contact is the sales representative, So my job is to act as the customer advocate to make sure they're looked after and feel comfortable coming in here to get projects done. That can include anything from, answering their questions, getting the quote, following up after their projects are completed, and making sure things are happening. We want to make sure they feel like they have a trusted partner in TÜV SÜD.

What is your favorite thing about working at TÜV SÜD?
That the technicians, service line, and myself have done the job well. And that we got a happy customer after the engagement saying things went well and thanks us for a job well done.     

What are you most excited about for the future of TÜV SÜD?
The opportunity to grow the Ottawa business with the Ottawa Team (we have a great team of skilled people) with the new capabilities we have and are adding to our service portfolio.

What are 3 words that you’d use to describe TÜV SÜD?
Integrity, reliability, and performance.

Tell us about a project that you’ve worked on that you’re proud of.
I'm going to say one of those RF projects we've just completed for a customer. It was a challenging project. The customer was nervous due to having tight timelines, and a lot was riding on meeting the timelines. They asked me to provide them with weekly status updates to keep track of things. And you know, the team did a great job. And the customer was very happy at the end and said the whole experience was great and thanked us for a job well done.

Being a trusted partner and a trusted advisor.

What is your history/industry experience?
I have 30 years of experience in high tech doing sales, business development, marketing as well as running a small business.

Name something that makes what you do at TÜV SÜD unique or valued to the customer.
Providing great customer service. And again making sure they feel like they have a trusted partner in TÜV SÜD, customers want to know that they can just call somebody up and that person is going to take care of their problems.

    The last show i binge watched was the band of brothers miniseries.
  • Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
    I like single malt whiskey and I have a collection of that 60 or 70 bottles.
