ABOUT THE COURSE

The course would introduce the principles and core subjects of sustainable procurement as outlined in ISO 20400, such as accountability, transparency, ethical behavior, respect for human rights, and consideration for economic, environmental and social impacts. It would explain how to integrate sustainability into an organisation's procurement policies, strategy and practices across the entire procurement cycle.

The course would guide Learners on the requirements of risk assessments to identify and prioritize sustainability risks and opportunities in the supply chain. It would cover methods for setting sustainability criteria, evaluating supplier performance, and promoting supplier capability-building on sustainability issues. Learners would learn the requirements for stakeholder engagement, due diligence, auditing and reporting on sustainable procurement.
