Ensure a high level of cleanliness and public hygiene
Launched in February 2020, the SG Clean campaign aims to safeguard public health by elevating cleanliness and public hygiene in Singapore through collective actions, from individuals to local businesses:
Under the campaign, the SG Clean quality mark will be rolled out to various industries, covering premises with high human traffic. The mark will initially be rolled out to hawker centres, and followed by public transport nodes such as train stations and bus interchanges. The mark is also planned to be extended to preschools, schools, government buildings, hotels, conference venues, tourist attractions, cruise and ferry terminals, airport terminals, the integrated resorts, shopping malls and F&B outlets.
Premises with the SG Clean quality mark will have to commit and adhere to sector-specific sanitation and hygiene checklists tailored to the requirements and operations of the various businesses. They will have their premises audited by agencies or appointed third-party assessors, like TÜV SÜD PSB.
TÜV SÜD is appointed by the Enterprise Singapore (ESG) as a third-party assessor for the “SG Clean” Programme. We boast experience in certification that is longstanding compared to several reference standards. At TÜV SÜD, we provide the most suitable specialists to carry out assessments. TÜV SÜD’s experts hold various international and national accreditations to satisfy local requirements for combined auditing and assessment exercises.
