Singapore, 25 January 2023. TÜV SÜD PSB, the wholly-owned subsidiary of TÜV SÜD Group, one of the leading service providers for safety, quality, security and sustainability solutions, has signed a Cooperation Framework agreement with TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) Asia Pacific Pte Limited to support clients in their carbon management and reduction journey.
The cooperation framework agreement was signed by Mr. Ameet Nivsarkar, VP and Country Head, TCS Singapore and Mr. Richard Hong, CEO, TÜV SÜD ASEAN, and witnessed by Mr. Niranjan Nadkarni, CEO, TÜV SÜD South Asia, South-East Asia, Middle East and Africa region.
Under the collaboration, TCS will help organisations to set up an appropriate baseline and induce data automation, allowing them to obtain informed data on carbon footprint at various management levels of an organisation with the "TCS Zero Carbon" Platform. TÜV SÜD with over two decades of global experience in the climate change field, will support organisations in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of carbon footprint accounting through critical assessments. The assessments will ensure the completeness and accuracy of data at a reasonable level which will eventually be utilised by TCS proprietary information as a part of software support service.
