TÜV SÜD offers global markets and its customers a host of services, including local technical support and laboratory capacities at their key production hubs. To strengthen its services for the important market of Australia in the future, TÜV SÜD is entering a strategic partnership that merges its global presence, technical know-how and history with the market knowledge and expertise of Comtest Laboratories.
“We are very happy to have signed this agreement, which will benefit brands, retailers and consumers in Australia and New Zealand”, says Robert Ostendorf, Global Vice President Consumer Product Service, TÜV SÜD. “After we have maintained close relations and a trust-based collaboration with Comtest Laboratories for years, this partnership will now enable us to support our Australian customers in their key production countries in Asia even more effectively than in the past.”
Existing customers of Comtest Laboratories will also benefit from the partnership with TÜV SÜD for capacities that fall outside the scope of Comtest Laboratories. Such manufacturers can be referred to the TÜV SÜD laboratories in their countries of production.
Within the scope of its partnership with TÜV SÜD, Comtest Laboratories will offer the softline and hardline services of TÜV SÜD to its customers and develop offers for new customers. Peter Dwyer, Chief Executive Officer at Comtest Laboratories says, “Based on our partnership with TÜV SÜD, we can now provide services that we had been unable to offer until recently. We look forward to working with TÜV SÜD on further developing and expanding our business.”
