Our mission is to protect the environment and enhance human health, safety, and dignity by ensuring the safe implementation of NSSS, through our expertise in capacity building, evaluation, testing, and certification.
Our Approach:
Since 2016 when we started working with global sanitation experts, we’ve been chasing one ambitious goal: to protect people and communities from human waste–borne pathogens and enable implementers to deliver truly inclusive sanitation services that reach the poorest communities. And while the sanitation crisis is huge, we’re optimistic. We leverage the expertise of TÜV SÜD and our global lab network partners to ensure the safe implementation of NSSS. If we work together, we believe everyone will have access to life’s most basic need within our lifetime.

WHY CHOOSE US
In 2016, our journey began with ISO/PC 305, where we spearheaded the development of ISO 30500 as project leader. This ambitious standard sets benchmarks for Non-Sewered Sanitation Systems (NSSS), in performance requirements and safety testing.
Our commitment continued with the creation of ISO 31800 for energy independent Faecal Sludge Treatment Units (FSTU), showcasing our dedication to pioneering standards that go beyond conventional sanitation norms.
At the core of our success is our proficiency in understanding the technical requirements for NSSS and FSTU, ensuring the safe implementation of these systems. Having tested in diverse locations such as China, India, and South Africa, we have encountered a myriad innovative sanitation technology type, such as combustion, biological, electrochemical and filtration. This hands-on experience places us at the forefront of industry advancements, allowing us to navigate the complexities of varied innovative technologies with pride.
