Your regular update for technical and industry information
The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has amended its standard for residue limits for pesticides used in conjunction with a number of fruits.
The amendment increases the residue limit for spinosad used in apples from 0.1 parts per mission (PPM) to 0.2 ppm. It also adds new residue limits for cynaophos, dichlorprop, fenpyrazamine, iprovalicarb, methomyl, glossogyn tenuifolia, metolachlor and pyrifluquinazon when used in conjunction with specific fruits and edible flora.
The text (in Chinese) of the TFDA’s amendments to that country’s MRLs is available here.
