USA: ASTM F1004 Expansion Gates and Expandable Enclosures standard updates

On 29 June 2018, ASTM released an updated version of F1004-18¹ - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Expansion Gates and Expandable Enclosures replacing its previous edition F1004-16b. In this revision, there are various editorial changes about the renumbering of sub-sections and figures due to additions of new sub-sections and new figures and also removal of a figure. Moreover, there are a few technical changes in the requirements and test methods.
