TÜV SÜD launches digital academy in india and singapore

Festive events marked the start of TÜV SÜD’s new Digital Academy in India and Singapore. Instead of exclusively providing on-site face-to-face training, TÜV SÜD now also offers online training which allows students to study at their own pace. Germany-based TÜV SÜD Academy is invested in the project, providing strategic support and technical know-how. India and Singapore benefit from the proven expertise and experience of the large-scale training specialist.

The key focus of TÜV SÜD's e-learning courses is the quality of training content and knowledge transfer. With user-friendly navigation and interactive multimedia presentations developed by e-learning experts, the online courses are easy and convenient to use. TÜV SÜD experts from a wide variety of disciplines supply the content of the training courses. After successfully completing an online course, each participant receives a digital proof of participation.

German-style continuous Training
The special feature of e-learning is that participants can study in their own time and at their individual pace. Short tests at the end of each module allow students to review their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. “The Digital Academy offers customers a highly flexible training solution. In Germany, we have been offering e-learning courses for some time with increasing success. It’s great that we are now also offering German-style online training at international level”, says Jörg Schemat, CFO, TÜV SÜD Academy. Digital Academy also has interesting training offers for companies in which businesses can book courses for entire departments, allowing their staff to learn at their own pace and gain new qualifications. Employers can inform themselves of the progress of their staff as needed.

Delivering a superior customer experience through e-learning
TÜV SÜD offers an extensive choice of courses on wide-ranging topics in management and technology. Experts transfer their knowledge to the participants and issue certificates following the successful completion of a training course. In addition to face-to-face training courses, TÜV SÜD is continuously expanding its e-learning services, giving its customers more flexibility and convenience. “Our aim is to deliver a superior customer experience by driving efficiency, cost optimisation and productivity through the digitisation of our portfolio. Launching technology-enabled training services worldwide is one step towards this direction.” says Ishan Palit, Member of Board of Management, TÜV SÜD AG. “The e-learning programmes, curated and delivered by our subject matter experts, will provide customers with an additional channel to access a global pool of technical expertise.”
