WHAT IS FILTRATION EFFICIENCY?

The filtration efficiency is commonly measured by particle counters. For example, samples of liquid or gas are taken during a test and the concentration of particles is measured and the filtration efficiency is calculated. The extent to which filters remove airborne particles is referred to as filtration efficiency.

WHAT IS BACTERIAL FILTRATION EFFICIENCY TEST?

Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) test is performed on filtration materials such as surgical or medical face masks. We are following ASTM international test standard to perform such evaluation. This test will provide the information of how effective a face mask is filtering biological aerosol according to ASTM F2101.

WHAT IS ANTIBACTERIAL EFFICACY TEST?

Antibacterial or Antifungal Efficacy test is to determine the efficiency of a liquid disinfectant / sanitisers in killing bacteria or/and fungus. We follow British test standard BS EN 1040 and BS EN 1275 to perform such evaluation. This test will provide the information of log reduction of bacteria or/and fungus by respective liquid disinfectants / sanitisers.
