The Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS) at SMU has engaged TÜV SÜD as auditors for the past seven years for our ISO certifications and we are pleased with their professionalism, expertise and support. The certifications are ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), and ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management System (ITSM). These certifications attest to SMU’s importance placed on and commitment to safeguarding institutional data, respecting user privacy, and providing high-quality services.
