ABOUT THE COURSE

This comprehensive and certified training course will provide additional knowledge, and skills to auditing professionals while transitioning from the ISO 50001:2011 to the ISO 50001:2018 standard.

This training course is structured on a modular basis:
• Module 1 – covering changes arising as a result of the adoption of Annex SL (one day)
• Module 2 – covering changes arising as a result of amendments to the standard-specific content of ISO 50001:2018 (one day)

The advantage of this modular approach is that students will not be required to re-sit Module 1 (the Annex SL content) once this has been successfully completed. Instead, they need only complete the relevant standard-specific module (Module 2 of that particular Transition Course).

Capitalizing on the powerful Accelerated Learning Technique, this course spends a good portion of time on discussions, exercises and a case study to help students to consolidate knowledge and skills in auditing to the requirements of the new standard.

Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 30 min. open book test (per module) will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement. Based on CQI IRCA policy, all CQI IRCA Certificated EnMS Auditors will be given three years to successfully complete a CQI and IRCA certified EnMS Auditor Migration training course to retain their IRCA EnMS Registration.

Know and understand the requirements of ISO 50001:2018;
Be able to audit ISO 50001:2018 management system requirements effectively. IRCA certified EnMS Auditor Migration training course to retain their IRCA EnMS Registration.

WHAT IS THE COURSE METHODOLOGY?

Participants will learn through tutor-led discussions, exercises, workshops and role-plays. It also includes 30-minute open book test per module. Certificates will only be issued to participants with 100% full attendance.

CQI IRCA certified EnMS Auditors (any grade); Holders of auditor training certificates;
Certification body auditor/lead auditor; ISO 50001 consultants;

Prerequisite: CQI IRCA recommends that students should possess an in-depth knowledge of ISO 50001:2011.

8. What is the difference between Auditor Conversion & Auditor Transition / Migration Courses?
  3 day Auditor Conversion Course
  This course is for holders of any IRCA certified 5 day lead auditor course Certificate of Successful Completion (or Certificate of Achievement) who want to acquire the skills and knowledge to audit against another standard (discipline). Successful completion of this course meets the training requirement for certification on IRCA's auditor/lead auditor scheme.
  
  For example: A holder of an IRCA certified ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor course Certificate of Achievement who wants to audit against ISO 45001:2018, he can attend the 3 day IRCA certified auditor conversion course instead of the 5 day IRCA certified lead auditor course)
  
  2 day Auditor Transition/Migration Course
  CQI and IRCA Certified Transition Training brings auditors up to date with revisions to ISO standards. The CQI and IRCA Certified Auditor Transition/Migration Courses provide those currently competent in auditing an ‘old’ standard with the knowledge and skills necessary to audit to the newly released standard.
  
  For example: Transition from ISO 22000:2005 to ISO 22000:2018, Migration from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018.
