ABOUT THE COURSE

This paid course focuses on how to design Additive Manufacturing (AM) parts and the limits & possibility of AM design.

Additive manufacturing enables engineers and designers to break new ground in product development. Already available components based on bionically optimized structures, and completely new designs allow to picture the full potential of additive manufacturing technology. On the one hand, designers must be aware of their new freedom of design in 3D printing, on the other hand they must know very well the few, but still existing restrictions. The current standardization is dedicated to this topic with current guidelines and industrial standards, which can be a basis for the successful development of new products.
