The IEC 61508 training consists of modules to be booked separately or in combination. This training program is based on the first three parts of IEC 61508.
The training covers key processes from the safety life cycle and the tasks and responsibilities associated with the processes. Case studies and examples are used to demonstrate the procedures in each topic, explain the work results and documents to be delivered.
Participant of the training modules together with passing the final exam will gain a TÜV SÜD certificate to be certified as “Functional Safety Engineer”, “Functional Safety Professional” or “Functional Safety Expert”.
4 days with 1 day of exam
The training is designed for developers, testers, project leads, quality representatives, safety officers and any personnel focusing on the development of programmable electronic safety systems and aiming to implement these developments based on IEC 61508 standard.
This is a written closed book examination which will be conducted virtually. Please note that the link to join the examination will be sent to the participants on the day of the examination. Participants will receive our Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP) Certificate (FS Engineer IEC 61508, FS Professional IEC 61508, FS Expert IEC 61508) based on their qualifications upon passing the examination.
