About the event

Robotics is being deployed in various industries to mitigate safety issues and enhance productivity. As an enabler of the Industry 4.0, robotics technology has advanced from caged up robots that are designed to work along side human operators. 

The human machine interface becomes a key feature of today's robotics integration in workplace. However, with every innovation, mass adoption and full benefits can only be reaped when the technology is known to be safe.

In this talk, TÜV SÜD will share experiences in ensuring safety when you adopt robots in the general workplace, including hazardous areas in critical infrastructures such as marine and offshore.
