Anyone who could come into contact with high-voltage systems in motor vehicles must be familiar with the potential dangers and possible protective measures of this electrical equipment.
Even without electrotechnical qualifications, you can acquire the necessary expertise as part of the awareness training for high-voltage. The training provides basic electrotechnical knowledge about high-voltage systems and rules of the accident prevention regulation and how to protect oneself.
- Electrical hazards and protective measures
- Operating vehicles and related equipment
- Discussing general activities that do not require deenergizing the HV system
- Location and identification of HV components and lines in and on the vehicle
- Discussion on all mechanical activities on the vehicle that can be carried out (but: "hands off orange!")
- Decommissioning of the HV system according to manufacturer's specifications as an additional safety measure just in case of emergency (Decommissioning is not the same as disconnecting)
- Unauthorized work on the vehicle Stopping work in case of ambiguity and informing the responsible FHV
- Organizational procedure for work carried out under the direction and supervision of a FHV
- Employees without electrical engineering training who, in the course of their duties, could come into contact with HV components of motor vehicles or who use vehicles with HV systems.
- This awareness training is for car workshop personel as well as for employees in the automotive development and manufacturing.

- This course is no requirement for the further Levels 2 and 3.
