About the course
A confined space is an area with a small opening where a greater risk of injury exists. Confined spaces include but are not limited to tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, pits, manholes, tunnels, equipment housings, ductwork, pipelines, etc. Confined space training provides knowledge and awareness in building experience through an overview of confined space entry-related safety requirements. This Confined Space training and personal certification program support organisations fulfill their obligations to meet the legal and Operational Control requirements of ISO 45001:2018. The training aims to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge of the hazards of working in confined spaces, safe use of tools and equipment, control of risks, and developing an emergency procedure.
