12th - 13th Feb 2021 - Workshop: Integrating SOTIF & Cybersecurity with Functional Safety ISO 26262 for Automotive | Duration: 2 Days
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Road vehicles are constantly being updated with new features to assist drivers in safe driving. With technological growth, the complexity in embedded system design increases exponentially. To ensure safety and security for everyone on the road, the ability to deal with this increasing complexity is especially important for autonomous and connected vehicles.
Safety Of The Intended Functionality (SOTIF) refers to the absence of unreasonable risk due to hazards resulting from functional insufficiencies of the intended functionality or by reasonably foreseeable misuse by persons. The new ISO PAS 21448 standard revolves around the topic of SOTIF. The idea is to assess whether an application’s intended function may involve certain hazards.
To help you ensure that sufficient levels of safety are being met by the driver-assistance systems for safe driving, TÜV SÜD South Asia will be conducting an interactive course on how you can demonstrate compliance to ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standard, SOTIF and Cybersecurity.
What will you learn from the workshop?
As an internationally accredited ISO 26262 testing body, TÜV SÜD is one of the world’s leading experts on functional safety and a founding participant in the establishment of the ISO 26262 standard. You will get the opportunity to learn from our highly experience course leaders on how you can integrate SOTIF and Cybersecurity as part of the current functional safety standard ISO 26262. The standards ISO 21448 and SAE J3061 will be discussed in conjunction with ISO 26262.
Topics to be covered in this workshop include:
Introducing SOTIF (ISO/PAS 21448:2019)
Introducing Automotive Cyber Security – ISO/SAE DIS 21434
Duration: 2 Days
Certificate: You will receive a Certificate of Participation from TÜV SÜD South Asia at the end of the course.
Who should take the workshop?
This course is specially designed for managers, safety managers, system developers, sensor and component developers, quality representatives, test engineers and all who are concerned with developing innovative and Advanced Driving Assist Systems (ADAS) and highly automated driving (HAD) functions aiming to implement their developments on the basis of the recognized international specification ISO/PAS 21448.
