Qualifying People - Developing Future

Production planning and control is a pre-determined integrated process which includes the use of human resources, raw materials, machines etc. to take the right decision at the right time and at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Heijunka is to optimize the flow for reducing fixed cost and increasing profit. It is a stable utilization of resources, thus reducing lead time and improving productivity. Kanban- KAN means Visual and Ban means Cards, which tells us what to produce, when to produce and in which quantity to produce. It also communicates which materials to transport, from where to transport, and in what quantity is to transport. Kanban is a tool for information flow.
