Exercise Based Process FMEA Implementation Course

9th Oct. 2020 - AIAG VDA PFMEA Exercise Based Implementation Course I Time: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm | Duration: 1 Day

Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA, often termed as "failure modes") is the process of reviewing as many components, assemblies, and sub-systems as possible to identify potential failure modes in a system & its manufacturing processes along with the associated causes and effects. For each process, the failure modes and their resulting effects on rest of the system are recorded in a specific FMEA worksheet.

PFMEA is the abbreviation of Process FMEA, an analytical technique used by process engineer/team as an effective means to identify potential failure modes and their associated causes and effects. The teams then address ways to mitigate the potential failures through enhanced process controls.

In this course, participants will learn AIAG VDA way of conducting Process FMEA, a mandatory guideline released for Automotive sector/supply chain in June 2019. The new guideline, which provides transition strategy, has replaced all earlier guidelines used in the Automotive Supply Chain. The training program will be participative & interactive and will provide the participants a forum to freely interact with our Trainers who have extensive auditing & training experience. Group Exercises will be carried to improve the understanding of participants with regards to PFMEA.
