Because every new and used car on the forecourt costs money from day one, it should be uploaded for sale on the Internet as quickly as possible. But it can often take dealers several days to prepare the vehicle and take professional photos of it. If an external photographer is commissioned, the vehicle may be there for several weeks, at the expense of contribution margins and seller bonuses.
Ingmar Schüller, Product Manager for Product Digitalisation at TÜV SÜD is convinced that it does not have to be like that and recommends that dealers adopt an agile approach when it comes to the production of photos. Those who stay agile and use professional technical tools save time and ultimately money. By producing quality pictures of vehicle stock, car dealers not only contribute to their company’s professional image, they will also attract potential customers. A more refined appearance increases the perception of high-quality, and can thus lead to higher selling prices.
