Instill confidence and trust in your electric vehicle charging infrastructure
Widespread adoption of electric vehicles can only be achieved when safe, reliable and convenient charging infrastructure is in place. Electric vehicle charging infrastructure and connectors are developed based on new technologies that require extensive testing and certification to relevant standards.
TÜV SÜD provides testing and certification of charging infrastructure, including charging stations, connectors and electrical components for:
•AC charging poles and wall boxes
•DC charging stations (CHAdeMO and CCS)
•Inductive charging systems
TÜV SÜD test for electrical, environmental (including EMC) and functional safety, providing the results of each test so that any issues can be addressed efficiently. Upon completion of all tests, you will receive a comprehensive technical report and, if all test criteria are met, we award certification to the product.
With our globally accredited laboratories (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025), TÜV SÜD provides you with a comprehensive range of testing and certification solutions for your e-Mobility charging infrastructure needs. We provide tests to safety and quality standards including but not limited to AIS-049 (Rev.1):2016, IEC 61851‐1, IEC 61851‐21‐2, IEC 61851-23, IEC 62196‐1, IEC 62196‐2, IEC 62196-3.
