A Global Standard for Food Safety, Packaging & Packaging Materials, Storage & Distribution, Agents & Brokers
Developed by the experts from food industry, the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard specifies safety, quality and operational criteria for food producers and suppliers. Used worldwide, the standard is recognised by the GFSI, which aims to reduce the need for multiple supplier audits by harmonising international food safety standards.
TÜV SÜD South Asia in association with BRCGS offers three training programs - Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor and Site training program. The programs are structured to provide an overall understanding as per BRC Issue 8.0 requirements with the aid of tutor led sessions, interactions and relevant examples. Along with this as an approved Certification Body (CB) to audit against the relevant BRC Global Standards, TÜV SÜD consistently achieves a five-star rating - the highest possible. TÜV SÜD has more than 15 years of experience in food and feed management system certification, and is one of the first certification bodies acting in this field.
This 2-day course enables the participants to undertake internal audits and prepare for third-party audits. It is delivered via a series of instructor-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. At the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the roles & responsibilities of the auditors, plan and conduct an internal audit and undertake post-audit activities.
This course has been designed to enable delegates to gain full understanding of the general principles of the standard, and how to comply with the requirements. Delegates will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification, and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit. The program provides an overall understanding as per BRC Issue 8.0 requirements with the aid of tutor led sessions, interactions and relevant examples.
This 5-day in-depth course will provide an understanding of the standard in terms of the protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively. Delegates will gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit. Auditing techniques will be practiced and developed, to include the auditor competency skills required of GFSI scheme auditors.
