Automotive Qualification Course on Core Tools

Training duration: 4 Days

Course Overview

This comprehensive four-day qualification course provides in-depth training on the harmonised Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and the AIAG VDA FMEA. Designed to build competence for internal or second-party auditors, the programme aligns with IATF 16949:2016 certification requirements.

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the new harmonised AIAG VDA FMEA Handbook, including both Design FMEA (DFMEA) and Process FMEA (PFMEA) fundamentals and key updates. The course explores how process flows, PFMEA, control plans, and shop floor documentation integrate to facilitate process standardisation and continuous improvement.

What Will You Learn?

This comprehensive four-day training workshop covers the harmonised Core Tools: FMEA (AIAG VDA), MSA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP. It is designed to help participants achieve competence as internal or second-party auditors compliant with the IATF 16949:2016 standard and certification requirements.

The course provides an in-depth understanding of AIAG VDA FMEA, including the basics of DFMEA and PFMEA, while highlighting key updates from previous versions. You will learn how process flows, PFMEA, control plans, and shop floor documentation interlink to achieve process standardisation and continuous improvement. The training also addresses PPAP and Production Submission Warrant (PSW) requirements in accordance with IATF 16949, complemented by foundational Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) concepts.
