ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME

In collaboration with NTUC Learning Hub, TÜV SÜD introduces the Professional Certification in Business Sustainability Management ISO Standards Training with 2 tracks: Facility / Cybersecurity.

Through this sustainability training programme, participants will be empowered to help their organisations navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities in the pursuit of sustainability. You will learn how to overcome challenges such as the shift to renewable energy sources, adapting data centers for sustainability, meeting annual sustainability reporting demands, and utilising carbon credits to offset carbon emissions effectively. By being equipped with the knowledge and skills to implement and comply with various ISO standards, you can support your company in establishing competitive advantage, achieve cost savings, customer attraction and loyalty, and mitigate risks related to sustainability issues.

This programme offers a flexible learning plan, participants can complete the modules under the selected track at your own time and pace within 2 years from the start date of the 1st module. Upon completion of the 5 courses, an assessment will be conducted by TÜV SÜD and qualified candidates will attain the professional certificate endorsed by TÜV SÜD and NTUC LearningHub.

Duration: Total of 160 hours – Duration of each module is 32 hours including 3 hours of e-learning, 9 hours of classroom, and 20 hours of project-based learning

WHAT ARE THE TRACKS AND MODULES UNDER THE SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM?

Participants can choose to specialise in the Facility or Cybersecurity track. Each track consists of 1 specialised module and 6 core modules.

WHAT IS THE COURSE METHODOLOGY?

Participants will learn a flipped classroom method combined with project-based work, allowing the learner to be responsible and motivated in their own learning process. We aim to promote both effective collaboration and the development of individuality through this engaging and interactive methodology. 

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

  • Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria of each module, participants will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA), accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore. 
  • Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria of each module, participants will be awarded with a digital Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub, and a Certification of Completion from TÜV SÜD PSB PTE LTD. 

You will be awarded with Professional Certificate in Business Sustainability Management upon course completion of all 6 modules under the selected track.

    • This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.

     SkillsFuture Credit:

    • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

    UTAP:

    • This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
    • NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.

     Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

    • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
    • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
    • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.

    There will be an assessment at the end of each course module, the mode of assessment is short answer questions and case study assessment.

  • What are the system requirements?

    Must-have:

    Please ensure that your computer or laptop meets the following requirements.

    • Operating system: Windows 10 or MacOS (64 bit or above)
    • Processor/CPU: 1.8 GHz, 2-core Intel Core i3 or higher
    • Minimum 20 GB hard disk space
    • Minimum 8 GB RAM
