Achievement: The scheme achieved a BREEAM 'Very Good' and an Energy Performance Certificate of B+


TÜV SÜD successfully performed the following roles; Building Services Engineers, BREEAM Assessor and Sustainability Consultants while also advising on such areas as FM, Life Cycle replacement and utilities. The client team was a joint venture between Renfrewshire Council delivering the building for
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The project was handed over in 2010.

The facility brought together various departments/ practices into one complex to provide services to Renfrew. Departments / Practices include social work, multi dental practices, multi doctor’s practices, community services, pharmacy & physiotherapy with back of house office, admin and staff accommodation.
The services installation included various sustainable measures including natural ventilation, underfloor heating and biomass boilers to provide a BREEAM Very Good rating and a ‘B’ energy rating.
