Achievement: TÜV SÜD have delivered Joint Faith Campus to BIM Level 2

TÜV SÜD were appointed as part of the design team to deliver the first ever Joint Faith Campus between two denominational faiths for East Renfrewshire Council.  The Campus merged the existing Calderwood Lodge Jewish Faith School and a new Catholic Primary School located on Waterfoot Road, Newton Mearns and caters for 766 pupils over two levels.

The project also had the added complication of being assessed under the new building regulations which meant TÜV SÜD engaged early with the design team, providing feasibility studies at an early stage to allow the cost plan to be adjusted and confirmed throughout the process.  The design solution was developed utilising Revit software to achieve BIM Level 2.

Regular design team co-ordination and weekly BIM model uploads were employed during the design process to ensure co-ordination was considered at each stage.
