European Metrology Network for Energy Gases publishes Strategic Research Agenda

TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory is a member of the European Metrology Network for Energy Gases, which has just published its Strategic Research Agenda. The strategy aims to guide European research activities to support the transition to renewable energy gases, a vital part of the EU's goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050.

The Strategic Research Agenda highlights the measurement needs and technical challenges for moving to sustainable gaseous fuels that will require attention by National Metrology Institutes, Designated Institutes, and industry in the coming years. It will serve as an essential reference point to guide the network's collaborative metrological research activities.

The European Metrology Network for Energy Gases was established to identify the measurement challenges and needs that will be created by this energy transition to renewable gaseous fuels.
