Matt Revitt appointed new Regional Director for TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman, UK

Matt Revitt has been promoted to TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman’s Regional Director for Birmingham, South West & Wales. TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman is Europe’s leading independent lift consultancy serving over 14,000 lifts.

Matt Revitt started working for TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman in 2012. Since 2020 he’s been a Vertical Transportation Consultant in the London office managing projects and portfolios within Europe and the UK. He’s also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Lift Group and has studied Lift Engineering at the University of Northampton. In 2011 he published a paper for the University of Northampton’s Lift Symposium.

Matt’s career in the lift industry started as a Technician Apprentice in 1985 and he joined TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman in 2012 based in the Birmingham office. For a brief spell outside of TÜV SÜD, he worked on some impressive projects in Sydney, Australia. These included 505 George Street which at a height of 280m is the highest apartment block in Sydney and 88 Walker Street, the 2nd highest mixed-use building in Sydney at 228m. He has worked on many prestigious tall buildings and for well-known clients including WeWork, CEG, Virgin Active, Nuffield Health, Heathrow Gatwick Express, and The Ritz Carlton at 230m.

In his new role, Matt will oversee 11 Lift Consultants supporting 1,900 lifts in the region. Speaking about the exciting challenge ahead, Matt said “I know the region well having worked in the Birmingham office before. I’m looking forward to connecting with my old customer base and meeting new clients.”
