TÜV SÜD – Covering the entire value chain of hydrogen

TÜV SÜD will take part in „Mission Hydrogen“, the global Hydrogen Online Conference on October 8 and October 9, 2020. As one of the leading TIC companies worldwide, TÜV SÜD is trusted partner along the entire lifecycle of hydrogen projects ensuring safety and efficiency.

As a storage medium, hydrogen can further advance the integration and use of energy from renewable sources. For this reason, numerous leading industrial nations and companies are relying on the hydrogen to achieve the specified climate targets. 20 countries have already adopted a hydrogen strategy or are working on it, the governments of Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, China, Japan, US and Korea have started to promote corresponding projects.

TÜV SÜD is active along the entire value chain in the safe development of hydrogen technologies. Competent professionals contribute their combined experience to numerous projects to promote and establish hydrogen as the energy source of the future. The spectrum ranges from support in strategic issues and funding support with TÜV SÜD's subsidiaries evety and Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik (LBST, through testing of all safety-related aspects, to certification of the CO2 footprint, energy efficiency or certification of the origin of hydrogen.

TÜV SÜD also contributes its existing know-how to the hydrogen consortium. The network initiated by TÜV SÜD consists of strong partners and evaluates a wide variety of hydrogen projects from the early planning phase. The network supports projects both holistically as well as via individual solutions. Thus, the various members offer a unique spectrum – during the entire development process up to completion and operations.
