TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory short listed as finalist at virtual EIC Awards 2020
We are pleased to announce that we have been selected as a finalist at the Virtual EIC (The Energy Industries Council) Awards 2020 in three categories:
Innovation, Technology, and Digital.
Running for over 75 years, the EIC Awards aim to celebrate supply chain excellence within member companies, with award categories based on the growth strategies explored in the EIC’s annual Survive & Thrive report. The Awards remain an industry standard covering the full range of energy sectors.
Investment in the Advanced Multiphase Facility (AMF), a revolutionary high-pressure / high-flow rate multiphase testing facility, and the new hydrogen gas testing facility, has struck a chord with the EIC. The facilities allow exploration of measurement challenges and digital solutions, not only in traditional petrochemical sectors, but beyond into clean fuels and green energy applications.
“In the face of strong competition from a record number of shortlisted candidates, we are delighted to have made the final cut in these three award categories,” said Ewan Fisher, Head of Sales and Business Development. “This reflects our ongoing efforts to develop and apply best practices for flow measurement, as it becomes an integral part of the transition from oil and gas to the potential future of low carbon renewables and hydrogen."
Due to ongoing restrictions, this year the award ceremony will be held virtually on Thursday 3rd December. Click here for further details about the event.
