The North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop is the premier event in the global flow measurement calendar.
This event alternates each year between Norway and UK and the 2021 Workshop will be hosted in Norway by our partners, Tekna. The conference gathers all key players working with challenges related to traditional oil and gas measurement as well as the integral part of the transition from oil and gas into a mixed energy portfolio and the low carbon renewables and hydrogen. The conference programme includes not only traditional flow measurement topics but subjects relating to new markets and the energy transition.
TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory's Dr Bruno Pinguet and Dr Gordon Lindsay are part of the Workshop Technical Committee.
We are also pleased to have the following speakers from TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory who will be presenting at the event.
Dr. Gabriele Chinello
Head of Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage (CCUS)
Presentation: A new over-reading correlation of vertical Venturi tubes in wet-gas flow
Dr. Edris Joonaki
Fluid Properties Expert/Technical Lead
Presentation: Addressing CCS flow assurance and measurement challenges: determination of water content in gaseous streams
Marc MacDonald
Head of Clean Fuels
Presentation: Accuracy Testing of domestic gas flow meters operated with 20 % hydrogen blends
Dr. Behzad Nobakht
Data Scientist
Presentation: Data-driven modelling for condition-based monitoring and flow regime prediction in flow systems
